Stay Steadfast

Think about it! Heb.3:14 For we are partakers of Christ, IF we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end. **It is easy to start a race with lots of zeal but after the race goes on for years with obstacles which require endurance; many drop out of the race; having lost their zeal. This spiritual race in Christ is not an emotional one, it is a race of faith. Heb. 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house we are, IF we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. **Do you notice the word IF in both verses? There are many such verses in Hebrews that show this condition and admonishes us as believers to be sure we keep the faith and persevere, allowing the work of the Holy Spirit to bring us into the fullness of the life of Christ. Jesus, said in John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him; IF you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed. **We must keep fighting this good fight of faith in Christ to the end. Beware of the enemy using the condition of the world to make you waver in your faith and walk by feelings. James 1:6-8 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. **A reminder from the Lord to all of us; stay confident in Christ to the end of your race. Walk in faith not sight; eyes on the author and finisher of that faith, Jesus Christ our Lord. Depend on His strength to endure to the end. Don’t give up, our end is nearer than you may think. Praying for the brethren to be strong and never quit! Encourage one another daily. God bless and keep you. Amen
