Good or Bad Tree?

Think about it! Matt 7:16-20 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Saints, above is our basic instruction on how to have Godly discernment. Pastors, I encourage you to teach your people how to inspect fruit and to realize that it takes time to see all sides of the fruit. We can be fruit inspectors without being condemners of the tree.
Our prayer is that we all will see as Christ sees, think as He thinks, hear as He hears, and speak as He speaks. May your gift of discernment increase and also wisdom from above.
Proverbs 23:12 Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.
