Victory Lives In Me

Think about it!  The Secret of life – victory is normal / defeat is abnormal.
Phil 1:21  Not a goal, a way of life now!
Gal 2:20  Not a standard to arrive at but God’s way of victory.
It doesn’t say what I should do that I may live; neither does it say what I can do to make me live; it simply says that Christ lives in me.
Victory went to the cross and couldn’t remain dead but rose in great victory over all powers of darkness!
It’s not a goal – it’s a process.
The cross – a way of life.  Denying your will and doing His. Praise your way to victory – He inhabits the praises of His people.  Paul didn’t say I hope I can let Him live through me.  He said no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me!
Acts 16:25-27  Example – If you are impatient person, your will to be patient will block the victory.  His patience must live through you.  Your flesh will never change.  That’s why we must die in order for Him to live.  No matter what comes our way we should be over-comer for He knows no weakness. I John 5:4;  II Cor  2:14; I Chron 29:10-11; I Sam 15:29  Victory will not lie or change.
The victory of Israel is not an experience or an event it is a Person. It is Jesus.
Understanding victory:
1.  Not a changed life but an exchanged one.
2.  A gift, not a reward.  I Cor 15:57
3.  Obtained not attained.  Obtained – means gaining possession of a thing. Attained – implies you have a long way to go to get it. Rom 5:27
4.  Possessing the life of victory is a miracle. Phil 2:12-13
5.  An expressed life not a suppressed one.  Phil 2:12
Victory gives us faith, joy, love, holiness, perfection, life, power, and richness.  Walk by faith – not by sight.  We can’t know victory by sight for He is faith.
I Cor 15:54,57  Death is swallowed up in victory. But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ
