Are You As A Little Child?

Are You As A Little Child?

Think about it! This morning I was reading in the book of Mark where the disciples rebuked the people for bringing the children to him. Chp.10:13-16 When Jesus saw this he was greatly displeased and said to them, let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it. And he took them up in his arms and blessed them. ** In these uncertain times the enemy will use fear against us if possible because fear is rooted in unbelief and he knows we can’t please God without faith. Adults are not as trusting as little children! All children need is a loving look or a gentle touch, but adults need everything explained to them or they do not trust. Children believe if they trust us. Jesus said this is how we should believe in him, as these little ones. We should not have to understand all the mysteries of the universe, it should be enough for us to know He loves us and provides forgiveness for our sins. This certainly doesn’t mean we should behave childish or immature, but that our trust and faith in Jesus should always be as a child’s simplicity and receptivity. No one human has all the answers, but only our Almighty God. When tempted to fear, doubt and question with a skeptical mind, stop and read these few words from Jesus to his disciples. Continue to trust Him and His word for He can’t change or lie. Jesus is Lord of all and in control at all times, He doesn’t sleep or slumber and daily we must make the choice to believe, obey and trust Him with all things or choose to fear, doubt and no longer trust. As for me; I choose to trust, obey and believe in my Holy Master and Lord Jesus Christ. He can deliver us from this present evil, but if not I will not bow my knee to another God. What is your choice? Think about it! Amen
