Think about it!   Provoke:  To arouse anger, to instigate trouble, and to do it deliberately.  Gal 5:26  Phil 2:1-3  Eph 4:31-32  Col 3:8-10
A spiteful person will always provoke.
Spiteful:  A malicious desire to hurt or annoy or humiliate another person.
A spiteful person is mean and wants to get even.
Malice:  Is condemned in the Word.  I Cor 5:8, 14:20  Eph 4:31  Col 3:8  I Peter 2:1
Examples – Est 3:6  Ps 140:3  Prov 30:14  Isa 59:5  Matt 27:23  John 12:10  Acts 7:54
Hatred grows from spite.  Gen 27:41

Examples –
Philistines toward Israel.  Eze 25:15 “Thus saith the Lord God; because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred; Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold I will stretch out Mine Hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.”
